STEARNS ROAD (CH 29) SAYER ROAD TO BRAINTREE LANE (EAST/WEST OF IL-59), BARTLETT -
The DuPage County Stormwater Management Division in a joint project with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, the Village of Bartlett and the Bartlett Park District will commence with Brewster Creek Flood Headwater project with will be performing storm sewer installation construction began on Monday April 22, 2013 with completion expected by September 30, 2013. The construction includes installation of pavement removal, storm sewer installation and pavement replacement that will require lane closures to one lane in east and westbound traffic with turn lanes being maintained at the IL-59 intersection. Some commercial and/or residential entrances on this section may be closed or turning movements restricted due to the adjacent construction.
DUE TO REDUCED LANE WIDTHS (10') IN THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE EAST/WEST OF IL-59, OVERWIDTH TRUCK MOVEMENTS WILL BE RESTRICTED DURING PHASE I OF THIS PROJECT. ALTERNATE TRAVEL ROUTES WILL BE REQUIRED.

ILLINOIS PRAIRIE PATH - AURORA BRANCH (CH 47) AND ILLINOIS PRAIRIE PATH - BATAVIA SPUR (CH 49), NAPEVILLE AND AURORA -
Beginning the week of April 8, 2013, the Illinois Prairie Path Batavia Spur and the Illinois Prairie Path Aurora Branch will be closed to facilitate NICOR Gas maintenance work. Along I-88, the IPP Batavia Spur is located on NICOR right-of-way and the County must allow them access to maintain and upgrade their gas delivery system. Both the Aurora Branch and the Batavia Spur are anticipated to be closed until October with the possibility of the Aurora Branch to open in late summer. A detour will be posted for the trail. Heavy equipment may be present in the work area -- please follow the detour and do not enter segments of the trail that are closed.

VILLAGE OF LOMBARD GREAT WESTERN TRAIL (CH 55) BRIDGES INSTALLATION AT GRACE STREET, UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD AND ST. CHARLES ROAD CROSSINGS -
Work continues on the bridge work and will suspend for the winter by 12/24/2012 due to weather conditions until work commences Spring 2013. Bridges construction is expected to be completed by 6/1/2013.

ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION'S NORTH AVENUE/IL-64 IMPROVEMENTS:
Powis Road (CH 18) is currently restricted to right-in\right-out at the intersection of North Avenue/IL-64. This work is part of the planned staging of the roadway improvements to the intersection under IDOT's work.

DIVISION OF TRANSPORTATION BELMONT ROAD AT CURTISS STREET IMPROVEMENTS (CH 2) -
The Division of Transportation is performing intersection improvements at Curtiss Street between Ogden Avenue and Maple Avenue, Downers Grove. Due to the construction lanes have been reduced temporarily to 11' lanes restricting over dimension truck movements to maximum width of 10' 6" between Hitchcock Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY - ROADWAY/BRIDGE RESTRICTED MOVEMENTS:
All Overweight Movement Permits (weight limit and/or lane width restrictions shown below) will NOT be permitted on DuPageCounty Bridges and/or Routes and will remain in effect until further notice, as follows:
- (CH 4) BLOOMINGDALE ROAD bridge over the Chicago Central & Pacific Railroad (between North Avenue and Army Trail Road) - limited to 9 Ton (18K lbs.) axle weight and 37 ton (74K lbs.) GVW permitted.
- (CH 40) YACKLEY AVENUE bridge over the Burlington Northern Railroad - limited to 100,000 lbs GVW maximum weight between Ogden Avenue/US-34 and Maple Avenue in Lisle.
