BIG FAT FELINE ADOPTION EVENT - EXTENDED THROUGH NOVEMBER 15!
Now through November 15th adopt any cat or kitten during the Big Fat Feline Adoption Event at DuPage County Animal Care & Control where YOU determine your cat or kitten's adoption fee based on the amount of donated pet food items you bring with you.

Something You Can Really Sink Your Teeth Into...
Adoption Saves Multiple Lives
By adopting a cat or kitten from DCACC, you not only save the life of the animal you welcome into your home, but you also open up life saving space for another feline in need arriving at the shelter.  But it doesn't stop there. By adopting during the Big Fat Feline Adoption Event you are also helping families struggling to make ends meet continue to care for their beloved pets.

Pet Food Donations Help Families In Need
Your pet food donations provide direct assistance to community members struggling with the possiblity of surrendering their animals. Any animal that is able to remain with their loving families is a life saved in our book!

It's Worth It To Pack On The Pounds!
Here's how it works:
1. Bring in any unopened pet food or treat item(s) for donation to the DCACC shelter
2. All of your donated items will be weighed by a staff member
3. The Friends of DCACC Foundation will match the total weigh-in amount to determine your total discount
4. Deduct your discount from the regular $100 feline adoption fee to arrive at your cat or kitten's adoption fee.

The Juicy Details...
Here's an example:
Total weight of donated pet food items = 40 lbs.
Friends of DCACC match = 40 lbs.
Discount taken from adoption fee = $80
What you pay to adopt any cat or kitten = $20

What you pay to adopt your new feline friend is up to you!

What's On The Menu...
Here's an example of acceptable items:
• Bags of unopened dry dog & cat food - any brand
• Unopened canned dog or cat food - any brand
• Unopened dog or cat treats - soft or hard
• Unopened bags or containers of kitty litter - any variety
