Impact Fee Program Information & Forms
The DuPage County Fair Share Road Improvement Impact Fee Program began in 1989. Its intent is to assist the County in financing highway capital improvements that are made necessary by new development. Fees are assessed throughout the County, in each municipality, based on a schedule that is included under Impact Fee Application Documents below. The fee is assessed one time, prior to when a building permit is received, and varies according to the type and location of the development. Various forms and documents are required in order to process the impact fee applications. Please see the impact fee application section under Impact Fee Documents for assistance.
