Overweight/Overdimension (OWOD) Movement Permits

Per the Illinois Compiled Statutes, the DuPage County Engineer under the Division of Transportation, reviews, approves and issues overweight/overdimension (width, length and/or height) trucking movement permits on its jurisdictional roadways (see link to right for applicable County routes and map).

Additionally, some DuPage County routes have bridges with additional weight limit restrictions. See the County's "Road Construction and Alerts" webpage for a listing of the affected routes/bridges. Alternate routes will have to be used to avoid these crossing locations.

Please note that an account must be set-up with the Division of Transportation (DPC DOT) prior to acceptance of any applications or issuance of any movement permits on County designated routes. Processing for new account applications is approximately 48 hours from receipt (excluding weekends and holidays)

NOTICE: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY ALL APPLICATIONS FOR MOVEMENT PERMITS MUST BE ON THE REVISED FORMS (DATED 7/6/2009) BELOW IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE AMENDED DUPAGE COUNTY ORDINANCE. ANY OUTDATED OR INCORRECTLY COMPLETED FORMS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE APPLICANT FOR RE-SUBMITTAL ON THE PROPER PAPERWORK.

OWOD New Account Application	Use this application to set-up a NEW account with the DPC DOT for trucking movement permits.
DPC OWOD Ordinance ODT-006B-92	Copy of the amended DuPage County Ordinance #ODT-006B-92 for trucking movement permits and revised applicable fees.
OWOD Movement Permit Application	Copy of the application for over-weight/over-dimension movement permits to be completed and signed for submittal to DPC DOT.
90-Day Movement Permit Application	Copy of the application for 90-Day movement permits to be completed and signed for submittal to DPC DOT.
OWOD Movement Permit Gen Provs	Copy of the General Provisions for OW/OD movement permits (attached to issued permit, but provided here for general informational purposes only).

NOTE: The Division of Transportation does NOT currently accept credit card payments for Trucking Movement Permits but will be doing so in the near future. Please check back here for updates on the acceptance of credit card payments.
