ResponsibilitiesIn 2010, the General Assembly adopted legislation to enable certain counties, including DuPage, to establish and implement an administrative adjudication program (AAP) to enforce and gain compliance with certain types of ordinance violations utilizing a Hearing Officer rather than utilizing the Court system. The use of the AAP process provides an expedited and cost-effective means to obtain compliance with violations.
