Impact Fee Program Information & Forms

The DuPage County Fair Share Road Improvement Impact Fee Program began in 1989. Its intent is to assist the County in financing highway capital improvements that are made necessary by new development. Fees are assessed on NEW DEVELOPMENT throughout the County, regardless of whether the development is in a municipality or is in unincorporated DuPage County.  Fees are also collected whether a new development is located adjacent to a County highway or to a State or village road.

For details on program requirements, forms, fee schedules, and document submittal procedures, please see our Impact Fee Procedures Manual included under Impact Fee Application Documents below. This manual includes all of the fee forms and procedures.  We have also included individual forms, maps and schedules.
