The various Election Worker positions assist the Election Commission in carrying out the functions necessary to conduct an election in DuPage County. These positions usually consist of one work day/night on or around Election Day.

Voting Device Tester (Optical Scan & Touchscreen)
Both the Optical Scan (OS) and Touchscreen (TSX) Voting Device Testers perform Logic and Accuracy testing to verify the consistent and optimal performance of the voting equipment.
Election Production Workers prepare the supplies necessary for Judges of Election to perform their duties on Election Day.

The chief function of the check-in clerk on Election Night is to receive from the Judges of Election all required election supplies designated by the DuPage County Election Commission.
Teams of check-in clerks are needed at the Receiving Center located at the DuPage County Complex.
- Pay is $50.00 for the night
- Hours are approximately: 6:30 p.m.- 10:30 p.m.
The field representatives are trained personnel who serve as a link between the Election Commission and the judges of election in the polling place on Election Day. Each field representative visits assigned polling places lending support to the judges of election.
Pay is a flat fee of $200.00 plus mileage for the day.
Field Representatives start at 6:00 am and must be available until approximately 9:00 pm on Election Night.
The student workers assist the judges of election when returning election supplies at the Receiving Center.
Pay rate is minimum wage at current Federal or State standard (whichever is higher)
Hours are approximately 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Minimum age is 14 yrs.
Student workers must have a Social Security number, as well as at least one form of identification, in order to work on election day.
